Alibag is Mumbai’s new emerging playground. Just a short pleasurable hop by boat from Gateway of India. Cleaned serene beaches, fertile green farmland, occasional forests, Historic Forts, and scenic mountain vistas are on offer. Right now Alibag is a better place to invest in Property it can be direct row land, Commercial property, Residential places, Farmhouses, etc. The reason is a few big giants like Reliance, Tata is planning to do huge investments in this area. Still, considering future opportunities property rates are not that high.

Alibag is very near to Proposed New Mumbai SEZ. There is a sanctioned plan for a Rewas-Karanja bridge. Once this comes up, the driving distance and time is taken will greatly reduce, as it will cut off Panvel and Pen. There is also a proposal for a Wadala-Uran Sea link. This is a major project which may take quite some time to become a reality. RoRo service from Mumbai to Alibag already started with a bang. It would cause the Mandwa-Alibag area to virtually become a suburb of Mumbai in the near future.
